Unfortunately, our usual in-person event at La Ferme Restaurant will not be possible this year...but we're going to do our best to create some community unity! Rain or Shine, we will be staging a
outside walk-by/drive-by event at 3404 Taylor Street, Chevy Chase MD from 5:30pm - 7pm A portion of the ticket purchases will go towards helping local familes afford safe, quality child care. Take the night off from cooking by purchasing a ticket that includes a delicious Rocklands BBQ dinner. We will have it on-hand for you to pick up and take home to eat. Silent auction winnings can be picked up at the same time. If you can't swing by (or would prefer not to) we will arrange to drop off your auction item(s) later. **all food should be consumed at home and not at the event - we want to create a safe place to say a quick hello without congregating** |
You must "purchase" a free, "Silent Auction Only" ticket, to bid in our silent auction, if you do not wish to purchase a meal. |

Our event, this year, will feature an on-line silent auction that will open for bids on October 7 and run through Oct 18. Since so many of the usual silent auction offerings (tickets to sporting events, theaters, etc.) are out of the question this year, we have chosen to feature one-of-a-kind items made or offered by friends and supporters. We had no idea how talented many of you are! If you are looking for some really unique and beautiful gifts for holidays or birthdays (or for yourself!!) you will enjoy browsing and bidding on these items!!

Two Baby/Toddler Sweaters with Matching Hat in Baby Blue and Grey
These gorgeous baby sweaters were hand-knit by Martins Additions neighbor, Hanne Correl. This is a two-sweater set so you will always have a clean sweater on-hand for the chilly fall days ahead. Sized to fit a 3 mo to 2T (sleeves can be rolled to fit smaller) one sweater is baby blue and the other, a beautiful grey. Both match the blue and grey striped matching hat. Washable on delicate cycle.

Nadia Goldstein Original Art: "Fall Garden"
This beautiful, three-dimensional original art is entitled "Fall Garden" and was created this year by Nadia Goldstein, otherwise known as friend and neighbor, Linda Goldstein. She describes it as: Acrylic with Found Objects. Found objects include plastic bottles, pieces and artichoke leaves. Handmade Scandinavian Christmas Ornaments
These three hand-made felt Scandinavian design ornaments will add beauty and charm to your holiday tree this year. They also make unique gifts that will be treasured for years to come. Made by local artist and Chevy Chase resident Bernice B. Duvall, Art Lady, L.L.C., and offered together, these ornaments measure about 3" high. The felt is made of recycled plastic so these are enviornmentally friendly too!!
Doggie Play Date with Breakfast
Your pup and three close friends can enjoy 45 minutes of frolicking in the large, fenced in yard of the Brown family (3404 Taylor St.) While the dogs play, you and your human friends can enjoy a yummy repast including a vegetable frittata, homemade zucchini bread, OJ and piping hot coffee.
Dogs must be accompanied by an owner and be on friendly terms. Mutually agreeable date and time to be arranged at least one week prior. Dogs must be current on vaccinations. 
Doggie Play Date with Happy Hour
Your pup and three close friends can enjoy 45 minutes of frolicking in the large, fenced in yard of the Brown family (3404 Taylor St.) While the dogs play, you and your human friends can enjoy a relaxing "Yappy Hour" complete with wine and hors d'oeuvres.
Dogs must be accompanied by an owner and be on friendly terms. Humans must be 21 to enjoy the wine. Mutually agreeable date and time to be arranged at least one week prior. Dogs must be current on vaccinations. Wine preferences will be taken into account.
